I've had a really long day at the office, and I just can't seem to find the energy to hit the gym after work. Or, I'm half way through my high intensity cardio day, but I just can't carry on. Sound familiar?

Fear not, here are some energy boosting tips that will get you to raring to go in no time.......

  • Try supplementing your diets with these high energy foods: sprouts, asparagus, brocolli, spinach, nuts, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, beans, lentils, yogurts and eggs.
  • An energy enhancing drink is a great pick-you-up in the middle of the day or before a work out! My favourite is Scivation Xtend, which avoids fatigue by blocking the entry of fatigue inducing trytophan in to the brain.
  • At the end of a hard day there's nothing better than a yummy treat to look forward to! Why not try a CNP Pro-Flapjack, available in three delicious flavours: chocolate, chocolate orange and cherry almond. These high-protein bars with complex carbs to provide slow releasing energy, are specifically designed for the health conscious individual with a hectic lifestyle. Easily fitted in to a pocket, glove compartment or gym bag, these bars are a convenient, healthy snack, to give you that added boost!
